I don't know if it is at the moment (have to check the code), but I'm
currently re-writing XFer in C for the benefit of those Linux and NT users
for whom XFer currently does not work. I intend to include this capability in
my version, and make source code available. I have established communication
between the Beeb and PCs, and got it to send the first time files to the
Beeb, now all I've got to do is write the rest of it. Some of the current
facilities of XFer may temporarily be disabled, such as the terminal
emulation. I'm concentrating on getting file up and downloading working
first, so I can save all of the data on my BBC discs before it goes rotten.
I'll make an interim release when I have that basic functionality working, so
that others can test it and contribute code.
