I'm very confused by the above comment. I assumed that the RGB socket on the
Beeb was purely for connecting to monitors and could not be used to connect
to a TV. Matthew seems to be suggesting otherwise, unless I misunderstand
him. 

I've never known what the "Video" port is for, but if it can be used to
drive a TV I'd be very grateful to hear how this could be done. My beeb's
UHF output is terrible, and there appears to be nothing I can do to fix it
:-(.
