WRONG!!! The court would look at the case, and look at the legal
implications.... Question is the law being broken? Answer : Yes, (an nobody
can argue about that) Result : 1 court order. The court can only look at the
legal implications, and not the reasons why the law is being boken. This is
the reason for the strange cases that sometimes pop out.. The law is being
broken, and unfortunately that is the point in question.
I'm sorry to go on like this, but I have had the experience of a company
ripping my pictures of. The company could well afford to pay for the repo
rights but were happier to run off a few 100 on a colour copier. I had to go
the the extend of a court order to stop them using the images, it was only
then that they took notice, when they found they couldn't use the publicity
material that they had so happly copied.

You are assuming things again. very dangerous.

But they still exist as a legal enterity. Copyright still exists. This seems
to be along the line that microsoft use... we are so big and you are so
small.... go on we dare you sue US!!!!!
This is as far as I am concerned the end of the conversation. I have no wish
to be accused of running threads on the BBC list that have nothing to do
with a BBC. Therefore I will comment no more. please remember copyright
theft is still theft.
Long live the BBC
Wayne
