Subject: Re: 2nd Processors (Again)
Hi Mike,
thanks for the reply. The diags on both beebs I have report the 2nd
processor as not present :(
The first bbc is a issue 4 with a solidisk 2meg 128 board fitted and a
solidisk 1770/8271 dual disk controller (issue 2). Roms fitted to this are
acorn dnfs 1.2, acorn adfs 1.3 and solidisk 1770 dfs 2.12.
The other bbc is a plain issue 7 board with 8271 controller. The only rom is
acorn dnfs 1.2. It's becuase this machine is so 'plain' I suspect the 2nd
processor.
One other question - *help returns 6502 TUBE 1.10 - is this the usual
version? It's just the rom on the 2nd processor board has '6502 boot rom iss
1.1' written on it in biro.
Any other ideas?
Regards,
Julian.
