Subject: Books

Somebody asked me something about 3D graphics recently and I remembered that
I used to have a fairly useful book on the topic called something like
"Advanced Graphics on the Acorn Electron". It was quite a boring and
technical book but once I'd got my head around the 3D stuff I managed to
draw my own Elite-style spacecraft on the screen.

Does anyone else remeber this book (or its BBC equivalent)?

Another book that I vaguely remember was the one Jonathan Griffiths (the
author of Snapper and JCB digger) wrote. It was about how to write arcade
games for the BBC and it was published by Acornsoft. I never owned this one
- but does anyone else? Is it interesting or useful?

The only BBC related book I do have is "FORTH on the BBC microcomputer"
which anyone is welcome to borrow if they want it.
