Subject: BBC B question?

My BBC B has a socket connection to the left of the keybaord.  The socket
is usually covered by a plastic tab. Anyone know what this is for?

I'm also still looking for a UMI-2B, 3S or 4M MIDI sequencer setup for the 
BBC.  If anyone has one they would like to sell or know someone who does
please drop me an e-mail.  Any info on any good classifieds where I could
post a wanted ad would help as well.
