Erm, I wouldn't call you a plonker, I'd call you someone who managed to
not be ripped off - paying as much as 15 quid for something like that
would be madness.
The "charity stall" at the Acorn Show in Wakefield last month were going
to *skip* Archimedes' (piles of 300s, 400s, 3000s etc) because there's
just too much of the stuff to store anywhere. Same with alsorts of Beeb
stuff.
I got an a400 with 4M RAM, ARM3, OAK SCSI +drive, and probably other stuff
for about 2 quid, and I was offered *plenty* more of similar but there's
only so much you could find use for ...
I saw a B+ and CUB monitor the other week at a car boot sale in Leeds, I
suspect it could have been taken off them for a couple of quid as well.
Paul Beverly has just forwarded a message in the Archive mailing list from
someone who is trying to get rid of *20* Masters and *55* a3000/3010/3020
from a school near Leeds.
I would laugh at 15 quid and shake my head and walk away !
