Subject: BBC Master problem

Hi, 

I'm new to the list and am currently restoring my BBC Master 128 after a 
considerable period of storage.  I've encountered some configuration 
difficulties as I am also having to rediscover BASIC and all of the commands 
I learned years ago when I was taught BBC-BASIC at school. 

My main problem is this, I have set the main filing system to ADFS, but when 
I enter a command such as CHAIN or *RUN I get an error message saying 'NO 
DIRECTORY' and then have to type *DIR before re-entering the previous 
command.  Is there anything I can do to stop this?  I am pretty sure I never 
had the problem before.
