What I can tell you immediately is that the expansion 
connector on the back of the Electron is just the system bus. 
You get all the data and address lines and at least the 16Mhz 
clock. There were some expansions that converted this into 
the various BBC expansion ports, but I've never actually seen 
one.

In truth, the Electron is sometimes said to be more expandable 
than the BBC because it doesn't obscure any motherboard 
signals give or take a couple of the divided clocks.
