Indeed. I couldn't remember the message and I didn't want to set the
computers up unless there was a prospect of help to solve the problem. 

Now I have set them up, and the message for any disc command is 'Sector
not found at 00/02'. This applies to discs containing commercial
software as well as those I filled myself.
