Interesting comparison, but at least you have the choice.  You don't have to

Fine - but the point I'm trying to make is when you moan about the licence
fee, remember to moan about paying for advertising too. Free-to-air TV ain't
free. Someone still has to pay - and that's Joe Public.

I never watch ITV or Channel 5, but still pay for them everytime i buy tin
of beans, fill the car up or pay my gas bill. And i'd still be paying for
them if i didn't have a telly - although i wouldn't be paying for a licence.

So which is the most unfair?
