Subject: LSI Phonetic & Research Speech Synthesizers

Does anybody have any information on these items?

I have saved a couple from the skip.

They were manufactured by a company called Loughborough Sound Images in the
mid 80's and were controlled by a BBC Micro.
I have the unit and a BBC function key strip, but no documentation.
I believe that they were primarily intended for use in Universities and colleges,
but that is largely speculation more than fact.

Any help that anybody can offer would be greatly appreciated.

Andrew.
