Hello to all,
I have about 15 BBCs and all have a formatting program in their respective
DFS's. I really can't imagine a DFS without a built in formatting program.
However I have scanned from screen a listing of a formatting program that
appeared in an early edition of The Micro User and hope it is of use to you.
Kind Regards,
Mark.

Heh, me too. I ended up writing my own, in BASIC yet, using DFS OSWORDs.
Bit rough and ready, but it works. I did look at the track indices for
some preformatted discs to find out the sector skew that Acorn use (it's
7, if you're interested). If anyone wants it they're welcome to it.
Cheers, jim
