Hi,

Yeah do REPORT

1981 means its BASIC I. Anything else and you are OK.

If you do have BASIC I XFER won't work because theres
an unsupported command. If you do a listing you will
find a line that looks unfinished (becuase the TOKEN
wasn't found)

I think, however that if you do run XFER with BASIC I
you get an error message on this very line. I had the
same problem a while back but can't remember exactly
where it was.
