Hi all,
I've just managed to get my grubby paws on a M128 in fantastic condition
(£2.50 on ebay!), and am wondering what to do with it next. At the momen
t
I'm somewhat limited, as my trust Cumana dual 5.25" drive unit appears to
have given up the ghost, so until I can locate a working replacement, I'm
reduced to typing programs in, desparately scouring the back of my mind to
remember BBC Basic from 18 years ago.
Anyway, once I have sorted that little problem out, I'm going to start
expanding the machine, and as there seems to be a fair few 6502 second
processors available on the market, I was thinking about perhaps obtaining
one of these cheese wedges. However, would one connect to an M128, and if
so, what would be the advantages of doing so? Do programs have to be
written specifically to support the additional hardware, or will
*anything* run with a 2nd 6502 connected?
Sorry for all the questions, but it's been years since I played around
with kit like this, and I have to admit that I'm a bit rusty!
