Subject: Re: More questions
Thomas Harte has kindly provided me with a copy of the uef.lib file which I
needed. I've also found out that I could can create the .lib file from the
dll using impdef (thanks to Mike Wyatt for that info).
With this file I've been able to compile the code without crippling any of
the original BeebEm code. Unfortunately, I've not been able to do much with
BeebEm in the last month, due to other commitments, HDD failures etc etc
(poor excuses I know). Hopefully I should be able to get back to work on it
next month. There are a couple of things in particular I would like to
finish off before releasing:
* save new memory areas (BBC+ & Computech shadow / private ram) with quick
save / save state
* save Computech config data on exit of BeebEm
* fix bug which causes screen corruption in Level 9 (split mode) games -
this is giving me a sore head!
* test with other games (especially since via timings have changed)
If anyone is particularly desperate for a copy of the code as-is, drop me a
quick note & I'll email it to you. I don't want to post it yet, since it
really isn't complete enough.
Regards
Ken.
