Subject: Re: Numbers of BBC and Master Computers Manufactured
Hi all,
Here's the updated list, I've added the Elk and another 1,000 Atoms.
o Hinted, less than 10,000 System 1, System 2 and System 3 combined
o Over 11,000 Acorn Atom computers
o Over 500,000 Acorn Electron computers
o Over 1,000,000 BBC Micro Models A and B, perhaps over 1,500,000
o Over 28,000 BBC B+ computers
o Over 200,000 BBC Master 128
o Over 70,000 Master Compact
It would be really nice to get some better individual figures for the
System series, and possibly for the other variants of the core machines.
o System 1
o System 2
o System 3
o System 4
o System 5
o Reuters Board
o British Telecom M2105

o ABC 110
o ABC 210
o ABC 310
o Acorn Cambridge Workstation (renamed ABC 210)
o Communicator
o Briefcase Communicator
Cheers,
Jon R.
