Subject: Beebug buffered disk drive interface

Hi,
I have a second hand Beebug Ltd (1990) Archimedes Disc Buffer
(Niche design 0480 214729). I am thinking of use this on another machine
to buffer disk signals from a longer cable i.e. from a BBC disk drive.
       The board consists of 1x SN74LS123N, 2x SN7207N, 1 x GAL and
selection of resisters & capacitors a power connector and dip switch
block plus IDE ribbon cable for input and a IDC socket for output.
On the device is a 8 way dip switch selection switch. What I
need to know is what this selection switch does as I have no manuals
with the device?
Does anyone have a manual for the device or know what the selection
switch does?
The original person I bought the unit from is unresponsive by
email so I am unable to contact him for advice. The unit work however on
its default settings.
       Default settings are
                       Switch 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8
                                0 1 0 1 1 1 1 0

Where 0 indicates off and 1 indicates on.

Thanks
Chris
