Hi all,

I'm almost certain that this is a subject which will have been covered in
depth, many, many a time, but a quick delve through the archives reveals
so much information that I was hoping some kind person would be able to
answer just a few simple questions! My system consists of a BBC Master
128, with a single external 40/80 track 5.25" drive, a PC running Windows
XP, which is connected to the BBC via COM1 and the RS423 port.

1) What software would I need to transfer a BBC Disk image (.ssd, .dsd)
that resides on the PC to the 5.25" disk on the BBC, enabling me to run
BBC software on the BBC?
2) Is there software that will enable me to "create" a BBC disk on the PC
(the PC has a 5.25" drive as "B")
3) I've been fruitless in finding "Low Density" 5.25" disks for use on the
BBC - am I able to use HD disks (PC 1.2Mb format), on the BBC, if I format
them down to 360k?

I'm sure that there's more, but I'll leave it for now (better do *some*
work today!) - many thanks in advance!

All the best

Matt Forbes
