Yes, you probably would be. The Beeb wasn't as successful in the
States as Acorn hoped, and at one point Greyhound Marketing/MicroPower
bought back a load of unsold American Beebs, which were then sold here.
Unfortunately, IIRC they changed the BASIC and MOS, so those
particular machines may not help, but there must be lots of others
*somewhere*.
