For those with nimble fingers my preferred pin replacement method on such a
socket goes
 - file the broken pin flat
 - put your 0.8mm drill bit in the drill press and drill a small hole
 - get an offcut of wire from a resistor
 - solder into the bucket you just drilled letting the meniscus of the
   solder fill round the pin
 - trim pin
