Yeah, I think that's the one.  If you saw it on ITV, it must've been
repackaged and sold on.  The guy apparently called in someone from the
Society for Psychical Research to help catch the hoaxer or prove there
wasn't one.  This investigator started spouting all sorts of technical
rubbish, even so far as suggesting the messages could've been typed by
someone outside the cottage through the earth cable ... I mean I've heard of
trials into networking over power cables more recently - but in 1985??  With
an unmodified BBC B?? Absolutely ludicrous! ...

Me?  I would've asked Mike Cook from the Beeb Body Building Course to come
take a look ... ;)
