CUC DOS was Computers Users Club DOS which came with third party disc
drive
interfaces
when the original Acorn one was £100. I swapped mine out for the Acorn
DFS.
If you are Ealing do you remember the Beeb shop and Viglen both up the
road
in Hanwell W7 ?
(I have a two Bs and a Master with assorted co-pros)

Gentlemen,
I have ten BBC b's, one BBC+ and three Masters. I have three out at one
time. Two next to my P.C.'s and one downstairs.
My preference is for the BBC b's, even the one with C.U.C. Dos,
whatever
that is. The BBC+, I inherited which has useful sideways RAM so that
Mini
Office II spreadsheets can run in all modes. I obtained the Masters only
because they are dual DFS's and can run BBC b programs, some times
slightly
corrupted. Mr.EEee! is an example. Also they work my Winchesters, and if
I
could be bothered to work it out my Econet File Servers.
These are my thoughts, share them by all means.
Kind Regards, Mark.
