Ah, I see what you mean. Directories on DFS are not really directories,
they are filename prefixes.
 
DFS allows up to 31 catalogue entries. Each catalogue entry can be in any
directory. So, you could have 10 in $, 10 in D, 10 in L and 1 in M and the
catalogue would be full.
