Subject: Marble Madness on the BBC
Wow, I'm prolific today.
I brought this up on the StairwayToHell messageboard the other day, and
thought I'd try reaching a different audience...
Does anyone know of an official Beeb conversion (released or aborted) of
Marble Madness? It rings faint bells with me, and by the power of Google,
I found this:
http://www.acorn-gaming.org.uk/Features/BBC/BBC2.html
...which casually mentions (near the bottom):
"Marble Madness [...] Guide marble down slopes, tiny screen."
I would love to know if anyone has any more info on this, as I'd love to
see what it would have looked like. That website even suggests that at
some point an image of Marble Madness was on the web (as it is categorised
along with a whole load of other titles in 'organised' folders which I can
only imagine would have come off a web archive of Beeb games).
So has anyone ever seen this "tiny screened" version of Marble Madness?
It's not "Gyroscope", "Inertia" or "Vertigo" - I know about those ones :)
Cheers,
Rich
PS Sorry for the blank space and the corporate disclaimer junk that keeps
getting inserted at the top and bottom of my posts - out of my control,
like.
