Mine is still not working. PSU is ok, although the 5 and 12 Volts seem a bit
high: both are 0.3 V higher while connected to main board and HD unit.

What happened in the past:
  1. did not work; the HD unit was completely dead
  2. which turned out to be a bad internal power connection
  3. and it worked!

  4. the battery had leaked quite a bit, so
  5. main board and batery area were cleaned
  6. new battery fitted
  7. new configurations set
  8. made copy of software on HD to floppies
  9. system start from floppies is ok
 10. after several power offs/ons during ten days, there's a last power off

 11. giving it a rest of 5 weeks

 12. after which I did a power on, just to note it wasn't able to kick some
      life into it :-(((((

I wonder if you (JGH) will have any succes with DesignIT, but if so,
sending from the Netherlands is too costly because of its weight.

Someone in the Netherlands is capable...?

Naagh, just jealous I guess.

greetings,
Johan
