Oooh ... now I bet that's going to cause some people excitement. The
equivalent of waiting for Half Life 2 for the beeb community? :D

The Micro User was relaunched as Acorn Computing in October 1992, before
eventually turning off the lights in March 1995, taking the likes of Mike
"Body Building" Cook and The Mad Hatter with it.

Acorn User is a different magazine, also launched circa 1982, which outlived
Acorn Computing and was still around as recently as last year - having fused
partially with Acorn Publisher - under the name Qercus and published by
Finnybank Ltd [http://www.finnybank.com/]. I'm not involved in the Acorn
RISC OS scene myself so I can't be sure, but I haven't seen anything from
them in the last year, though, which seems to imply they too may have run
into difficulties.

Cheers,

Sam.
