2004. It became the meaninglessly titled 'Qercus' which AFAICT has
struggled ever since to produce regular issues.

1995 which spelled the end of the BBC subscription disk as well (I
think the tape went in 1992). Some great stuff on the disk right up to
that point though - they really did a good job. Acorn User would go on
to have a golden age until around 1999 when Acorn broke up and things
started to really fall apart. Amazing Steve Turnbull kept the magazine
going as long as he did really.
