Hmm, that's actually a good point. Everyone thinks in terms of scanning
docs as a sequence of images, and then at some stage running them
through an OCR process. But a lot of the docs I have are ones that have
actually been *used* - which means they have useful notes scribbled in
the margins to correct or expand on mistakes in the original
documentation.

Capturing those scribble seems important too. Whether they should be
OCRed or treated just as little images I don't know, but it seems
important not to lose them in a lot of cases.
