Subject: BBC Micro as a diary

Hi everyone,

Crazy question - if I wanted to use a BBC as a daily diary, how easy would
it be to transfer text files, say using Acornsoft VIEW or some other BBC
word processor, on to PC at a later date? Is it possible to get this data
into a Word or *.txt compatible format?

I'll be honest I haven't transferred files from BBC to PC yet so I'm
completely lost on this. I was toying with the idea of using the GoMMC
device, or alternatively just storing the data to a BBC compatible harddisk
or floppy drive and then archiving them over to a PC.

Yes I know, I could just type it on a PC but I want to have another reason
to justify having a BBC setup ready to rock!

Thanks for any info.

Aaron
