A trivial bit of protection (which ISTR from early Micro Power games more 
than anything - the ones written in BASIC) was to put a VDU21 in a 
beginning REM and VDU6 at the end of the program.

I think one game (possibly "Wall") had screen-clearing VDU9's liberally 
peppered through the program REMarks too.
