This is exactly what I did back when everything was current - My fileserver 
actually was a Master ET, upgraded with a 65C102 co-pro and a 1MHz bus 
connector to attach a winchester drive, and an ADFS 1.30 ROM..  The L3 FS 
didn't recognise the master's clock, but the version I had prompted for 
date & time.  It just needed a very short boot-up script that read TIME$ 
and put the appropriate values into the keyboard buffer before chaining the 
server code..
