Subject: Adressing posts

Dear all,

Please all, don't address posts to both the list and a person too, with
its personal address. Mailers are different, and so is their behaviour:
Most likely you'll end up with two messages, or just one at the wrong
place (user/folder).


It's time to remember the convention to address someone personaly ON a
mailing list. That is to use a full email address, which consists of

 * the naked email address (with those '<', '>' (and '@'))
 * the Real Name

Just see how my post is addressed!


So, if you really want to address someone personal as extra on the
post to the list, then the full email address, as mentioned above,
is a clean way to do so. Extra CC-ing to the person is not.


May I make the plead here, to use /only/ the list's email address here?
(leaving it to the poster using a full address or not)
