I found for games such as Exile (version 1) RipOff wouldn't work... however,
Howard Spurr (writer of RipOff) also wrote Disc Duplicator III which managed
to copy everything I wanted. I don't think it could manage Firetrack, but
I'm wondering if my Watford DFS and 8271 controller had something to do with
this...
"DISK DUPLICATOR III was last upgraded to version 3.3 at the end of 1985.
Since then more use has been made of the Intel 1770 series disc controllers
to produce discs which cannot be cloned using the standard 8271 based
DFS.Now that the level of support that can be offered is reduced I have
decided to put the software into the Public Domain."
