Hi,
Why not try BeebEm, then, if like me, you have trouble with old favourites
like Super Invaders running erratically, you can shell out for a GoMMC, with
upto 2GB of space and instantaneous loading and saving. Take a look at it at
<http://web.inter.nl.net/users/J.Kortink/home/hardware/gommc/what.htm>
I have an old Master in a Viglen case with a GoMMC and a Turbo, along with a
pair of DS80T drives, hooked up to an old Sony TV via RGB.
Dave ;)

Subject: [BBC-Micro] Real Machine or Emulator
Hello Group,
Having noticed the formation of uk.comp.vintage my interest in older
PC's has been revived. I am dithering between an emulator (I have
Beebem and Model-b) and buying a BBC (Master preferably) from
somewhere.
If I had a real machine I would really, really like to use it for
Usenet and perhaps email, it would be a fantastic kick to post from
a Beeb :-) I'd probably try and write some programs as well, I can't
remember what I used for 6502 assembler 20+ years ago though.
It seems that getting hold of programs to run on emulators is quite
easy. What about getting programs to run on a real machine? If I
succeeded in connecting it to a PC to copy the disk images over can
they be loaded directly to a real machine or copied on to a
floppy/cassette to run?
Being a hoarder I still have the cassette recorder and lead I bought
to use with the Beeb, although sadly the machine itself was sold
many years ago.
Best regards.
