Subject: Collected notes on floppy drive butchery?
Evening all,
I've been reading the discussions on adding various combinations of
floppy drive to various Beebs with various cables with a good deal of
interest - this is something I'll want to do soon. Is the BBC-Micro
Wiki still running? If so, would this make an ideal way of everyone
collating their knowledge together? The threads have been extremely
interesting, but I have this worry that I might miss one important
piece of information that someone gave as a throwaway comment, and I
won't see it before an incorrectly wired drive explodes and removes my
eyebrows ...
It would be fantastic to see some really definitive "howto"
documentation appear from the wealth of information represented here -
it's the kind of thing that's invaluable at 3am when I can't sleep and
I'm beginning to regret pulling my computer collection to bits!
All the best,
Kris
