Subject: Fun memories of the Beeb

Hi all,

Thought I'd share a couple of memories I have from when I first started 
using the beeb at school many years ago.

When I was in the 6th form we had some gaps in our timetable so me and 
some friends used to go to the computer room if the back room was free 
we'd use the beebs supposedly to write programs but more often to play 
the latest games. Anyway one time my mate tony spilt hot chocolate on 
his machine, as food & drink was banded in this room we quickly switched 
the machine off and left. For weeks after whenever that machine was 
turned on for more than a few hours you got this wonderful smell of hot 
chocolate :-)

Months later someone took the cover off to upgrade it and there was this 
furry mold growing all over the mainboard, it cleaned up alright and 
never stopped working.
