Can't think of any way on a Beeb, the links on the keyboard are for the disc
head stepping interval, the autoboot and the screen mode. I agree, the
Master is superior here, allowing all of this plus the control of the
vertical position and interlacing.

e.g.

*CONFIGURE TV 254,0 - interlacing on (default)
*CONFIGURE TV 254,1 - interlacing off - stops the image from shimmering

Just been playing Elite, it's taken me half an hour to reach Xeines from
Alace with 35t of Computers - Braben and Bell were chucking the lot at me,
made over 1,000 credits on bounties alone. Good old Friday afternoons!
Hehehehe, David Braben is less than a mile away from me now... My fist was
waving in your direction when a ship was mistakenly shown on the scanner as
cargo - almost toasted...
