Early VIDPROC's were made by Ferranti and have a part number beginning
with "5C", hence were known as the "5C" ULA. The Tube ULA is the 9C,
and IIRC the Serial ULA is the 2C.

Later VIDPROCs were made by VLSI. I can't remember the part number
offhand. These did not need the heatsink that the Ferranti ULAs
required, but some boards needed a small hardware mod (a wire link) to
allow them to work when replacing an earlier 5C type.
