Depends on what you want to call 'fast'.

65Link gets to around 50 to 60 KB/sec talking to a Risc
PC, and a PC version would be the same speed. 3 minutes
per 10 MB, roughly.

ZeriLink, something else I've written, connects PC +
Risc PC, gets to around 800 KB/sec. If both sides do
DMA as well then something like 1 to 2 MB/sec is
perfectly possible (depending on how fast the I/O
chip is clocked).
