I remember being in a Physics lesson in Science Room 7 when
somebody brought a BBC computer into the room. We clustered around
excitedly to see what this new toy was. Prior to this the maths
department had a large stock-room known as Division Room 1
furnished with two Apple IIs and a Sharp and the Physics
department had a ZX81 that I borrowed overnight several times a
month.

Within a year the school outfitted a whole classroom as the
computer room with 15 BBCs all networked together, with the
network extending across the whole school. The school network is
mapped at http://mdfs.net/User/JGH/Docs/MyersGrove/SCH-MAP.gif

Ah... The lunchtimes, pre-9ams and post3:30pms spent in Room 201.

I have fond memories of borrowing the Beeb-On-A-Trolley and taking
it to the Physics Prep Room and plugging into the network from
there.

There are three food groups: brown, green and ice cream.
