The empty socket is for a ROM. The PC driver downloads the microcode to the
board, which could be burned into ROM instead in which case you would have
to set Link 10
Issue information on the board, Issue 1 0262.000 SIDE 1 and a serial number
sticker 150381. Cable is pretty easy to make up.
