Subject: Re: Beeb CNC Interfacing Systems?

Thanks Mike. Incidentally, I've got a Boxford analogue port dongle
here which I've unpotted and it seems to use the same principle as
your Denford one. Oddly though it also has a 7490 chip in it that is
wired in a weird way and seems to feed the LPSTR line. I can't work
out what it's doing though as it doesn't seem to make any sense
against the 7490 schematic - it uses no extra components and there
doesn't seem to be a clock feed - very strange. Are you sure there
isn't something similar in your Easimill dongle that requires a sneaky
check on the LPSTR register?

I imagine this Paramax stuff had a dongle at some time too, which got
lost along the way as usual.
