No arguments there :-)
Just surprised that non-MIME-compliant software was still in use. 
Anyway, I'll shut up now. 
(Incidentally, I use a mixture of Pine on Linux, and Thunderbird on 
Windows. Been a Pine user since 1994 (eek!) and it's always supported 
MIME IIRC.)
