I would be very interested in one of these. I've been taking a look at the
pictures of the blown one on Beebmasters site, and come to the conclusion
that the switchmode electrolytics in any of these are now well past their
hours rating, especially as the current breed of 'switchmode friendly', (105
degree low ESR), capacitors were not available then. I could offer to do a
rolling replacement for those with an MDFS, but no soldering skills. The
board itself looks like a resonable swap out. Has anyone tried asking SJ for
diagrams? Might it be worth a try?
