Sometimes it's not just a new boiler they recommend, but a new system. I
had a problem with my boiler and they recommended not only replacing it
(to a new location) but also moving to a combi-boiler rather than stored
hot water, which meant extra $$$s for them in removal of the old tank and
associated work.

In total it was over 2K of work. I didn't take them up on the offer.
