Subject: Re: How to video capture of screen output?

For still images (and video in some cases) I have always taken a shot
of the actual screen using my digital camera. The picture quality varies
as some may have seen from my website.

When I was making up the picture sets for the Domesday Machine section,
I wanted to record the output onto videotape via SCART and then capture
the video onto my PC with a TV card but I found that the picture appearing
on the video was very faint so I had to abandon the idea.

Best wishes,

Ian

Hi, In the end I captured the screen output from the
real life beeb(see other post for result).

To get a composite output to feed into Pinnacle
capture, I had to dig out the old Betamax recorder
(with the analogue tuning dial). Modern Video
recorders don't seem to tune in properly the graphics
ends up with horizontal lines running off them.
