I wrote a Spectrum Emulator for the BBC Master (needs shadow
screen and at least one bank of sideways RAM). It was written in
BASIC and ran very slowly, but (after some time...) it would get
to the copyright message and command prompt.
 
I'll see if I can dig it out. It might run at reasonable speed on
the ARM CoPro ;)
