Subject: Reversing your Master Eprom 'cartridges'

Hi Robert,

In the event that someone able were to do the above,
is there any inbuilt protection, (I imagine, say, a
small fuse and diode supplied to stop the chips from
frying; etc, etc)?

This is different to the no longer made older
counterparts that have an indented lip to snugly fit into
the Master cartridge slots, thus providing mechanical
protection that would prevent this from occurring.

I was just sizing up a configuration with a combination of
one the Sprow 2004 units combined with a Viglen unit when I
had a horrible thought. "What if this Master was on and
I stupidly pushed the Sprow 2004 home into its
socket but back to front; not the recommended thing but a typically
human thing to do - might result in the odd angry (albeit stupidly so)
customer.

Thanks

Raf
