To be fair, some new cars are designed to an extent that you *can't* 
change the oil yourself.  My dad's new Renault has a hole for screen 
wash and nothing else.  Lift the (tiny) bonnet and the engine is encased 
in heat resistant plastic covers. We had a peek under them and still 
found nothing vaguely familiar.  Wherever the plugs and oil filter are, 
they're very well hidden.
